Academy Athens Watersports Club

The summer ends and the Athens watersports summer camp has come to an end.

But an end, which is only the beginning!!!

In our surf school, the education never stops. The water sports are beautiful hobbies for all year long.

On 23th September 2023, begin the Athens Watersports Club Academies.

A complete programs about Windsurf, Stand Up Paddle, Surfski kayak, depending on the prevailing weather conditions.

The trainings take place every weekend, in separate teams based on the level and age of the participants, with possible hours between 10:00 and 16:00.

The children, the young athletes, but also all the others who follow the monthly training programs, learn properly and enjoy the sports taught at the school, while at the same time dominating the competitions with great success.

Children of the windsurfing academies who started through the summer camps, 7 years ago, became members of the National Windsurfing team of E.I.O., achieved hellenic wins for many years, as well as wins at the European and World Championships winning First, Second, Third and Fourth place in their categories.

Still children of the SUP and SURFSKI academies, starting from the summer camp and later continuing in our academies, managed to become members of the EOKK Greek National team and achieved firsts and important wins at the hellenic, European and World Championships.

Saturday and Sunday schedule

  1st Group: 10:00 – 12:00 (Beginners)
  2nd Group: 12:00 – 14:00 (Advanced)
  3dGroup: 14:00 – 16:00 (Pre-Racing and Racing team)

The exact times of the sections will be announced based on the number of participants and after the division according to the age and level of the children.

The program includes:

• Theory in the classroom
• Trainings on the water
• Improving technique and developing skills in all sports
• Introduction to Sailing, Racing SUP and Kayaking
• Analysis of race tactics
• Competition regulations
• Training races
• Official races

Cost:

€120/month (Two trainings per week, every Saturday and Sunday)
Cost of participating in the gym programs +30 euros (2 times/week) *optional
